5191-3. Chinese export porcelain covered vegetable dish, celadon glaze with birds and butterflies. No damage. 9 ¾” X 8 ½”, h. 6” . $195.
The French girandoles date from the late 19th or early 20th century and are of high quality. Each of the pair has three lights on trifroil bases with urn form frames. They are done in bronze with cut glass crystals. Electrified, H. 18", W. 11", $895 for the pair.
The blue on white Chinese crackle glazed charger is from the 19th century. Slip glaze foo dogs decorate the center with an iron glaze rim. There is decoration on the reverse as well. D. 14 1/2". $375
The huge Chinese porcelain fishbowl (21” wide and 18 ½” tall) is the largest that we have owned. The colors are greens, bittersweet red, and yellow with black outlining. There are no repairs or cracks, however I will point out the some wear at the edge of the rim, obviously from rolling the heavy bowl along the ground to place it. The panelled sides show birds and foliage within fields of floral detail between banded rims. The upper flange is strewn with flowers and tendrils. 19th or early 20th century, $1250.
Chinese export plate, 18th century, 9". No damage or repair. $95.
English Spode well and tree turkey platter in blue willow design, only most minor glaze wear. 18 1/2" X 14 1/2". $245
