#5142 Dutch origin with its well articulated crest, angular arms, deep apron, bold cabriole legs, and three large carved shells. There is evidence of gilding at one time to the shells and apron. The recent moss green velvet seems a compliment to the wood patina. Height 43", with at extreme of arms, 30 1/2". $ 2400. 

 A console of distinction that is well carved with extensive leafage and scrolls. This 18th century piece exhibits the deep hand carving, layered finish, and minor degradations to the wood that earmark a period piece. A later white marble top is supported by detailed cabriole legs with scroll feet. The top conforms to the base outlining turret corners. Length 55”, depth 16”, and height 34 ½”.

An early, 1810-1825, French neoclassical console in mahogany with a veined gray and white marble top. The elegant façade is mounted with gilt ormolu anthemions and rosettes. Each wood central panel is covered with pleated silk. W. 46”, D. 17 ½”, H. 37”. $1995.

Directoire games table, mahogany, circa 1810. The rim has an applied brass molding
surrounding an interior with red cloth. The rear section with legs pulls out to reveal a drawer. All legs are most slender and with ball feet. No major repair, W. 32 1/2 “.  $495. 

A bold Spanish 17th or 18th century armchair in old finish with embossed leather as found. $1995. 

Venetian rococo sofa, 18^th century, frame in old finish with recent silk damask cover. This has outstanding line and proportion with a curvaceous back, scrolled arms, and cabriole legs.  $9500
